1. THREE’S COMPANY
We adopted Benji not knowing for sure how he would fit in with the crew. Blanca has totally fallen in love with him. When they kiss…it’s shameful to watch because their love affair is so bold. They play, dangle toys in each other’s faces to start a play fight, and sleep together.
Blanca protects him from Bella, the mean chihuahua. Read more here!
2. BLOGGER
I am a blogger. Not necessarily a great one, but a blogger just the same! I blog when I have time and it helps me to remain organized. If you do not think it’s hard or time consuming, you should try it and see where you are in 3 months!
One of the main things I still blog about is fashion! I have been in fashion for a zillion years and I still work for Johnny Was Clothing. I love to blog and share some of my favorite Johnny Was designs, such as this amazing Love & Liberty top/tunic/coverup ! The sad part is that I only have been sharing 1/10th of the items that I get from Johnny Was so I really want to challenge myself on that moving forward!
3. ABDUCTED
I do actually have a brother. I drove with him to Austin last month to check on a job opportunity. I decided to treat him to a late lunch at The Oasis on Lake Travis before heading back home.
It’s complicated to discuss my brother because he’s such a private person and here I am with the utmost transparency. We do not see eye to eye. On much of anything. I can’t really go into it, but it was nice to take a quick road trip and try to connect. I can say this, intelligence and sanity do not often hold hands and skip through life together. I prefer to think that intelligence can overcome dysfunctionalism but it’s often not the case. Who is actually to say what is or is not functional anyway. We’ve created a gerbil wheel for out lives that a lot of people are not innately predisposed towards being able to stay on long term and succeed by the legal definition of success that we have allowed to be defined for us by the world.
He doesn’t really agree with the gerbil wheel way of life. He’s read more books than any other 30 people combined but whether or not any of that knowledge is being used is unapparent to me. Intelligence without action is moronic. So we have out debates. He lived with us until recently but I don’t think we met his standards as human beings. It was funny that he would let me snap a picture in this crazy UFO thing and we decided it could be his new Facebook profile shot because it is pretty funny because he recalls a crazy dream in which he woke up from being prodded by aliens and was sore. We joke about the possibility of him having demon children in another galaxy from the alien/demons trying to mate with humans. So yeah, the spaceship thing is hysterical.
4. MALIBU
I made a quick run to Los Angeles for a couple of reasons. I treated myself to a nice oceanside dinner alone at Moonshadows in Malibu. As the waves crashed in, I realized that a Pomeranian was sitting in the chair next to me with his lonely hoo-man mom on his other side. I made a mental note to get out more and be more social because I do not want to end up like that. Living a great life…alone.
The food was great at Moonshadows. I had zipped around up into the Calabasas area beforehand and enjoyed an adventurous few hours. Being alone…although peaceful, is not ideal. There’s nobody to share things with. Although I enjoyed the waves crashing in as I treated myself to a glass of champagne, I do not plan on making a habit of travel alone!
5. THE PLAN TO SAVE THE WORLD
I love this photo (photographer unknown) of our President. The photo was part of an amazing 13 minute video entitle Q, The Plan to Save the World.” If you do not know anything about the Q movement, or if you do not follow #Qanon on 8Chan, then you should really give your country a few minutes to get some insight.
I have been following the Q movement since October and I find it crazy that the mainstream media does not ever mention it. Ever. It’s exciting to see what’s going on behind the scenes! Click the photo of President Trump to view the breathtaking video. Pray for clarity before you watch in case you’ve already been zombified and are unable to comprehend. There is theft within out government, satanism worse than you could possibly imagine and as arrests and indictments continue to leak, slowly we will see how bad off we were. Pray before you watch the video, and you will see that there is a reason a lot of us research, believe, support and follow.
6. #BENJIGRAM
Benji apparently got a hold of my phone (those crazy kids). His post is copied below!
Hi! My name is Benji! I am super happy with my new home, my new mom and I even have a really hot girlfriend named Blanca! We love each other so much and play together all day! Mom doesn’t mind that I drool a little bit because of my jaw injury. My new family is very understanding. They love me so much and let me sleep in the big hoo-man bed at night! I don’t feel sad anymore from being dirty, hungry and hurt from the mean person that broke my jaw. Please consider adopting a homeless pet when you’re prepared to love #furever.

YOU MAY HAVE MISSED…
When my husband recently presented the idea of us finally going to Paris together, I finally started surfing the Internet for cute boutique style hotels to consider during this trip which may or may not take place in the future. (Due to time constraints, there is a Plan B.)
As I looked around for the perfect vacation spot, I found a place called the Hotel Ascot Opera Paris, which had the perfect location and the most adorable decor! Most of the rooms have a huge Parisian mural behind the bed and a contemporary vibe.
I’ve heard a lot of my apartment seeking clients who want a “modern, sterile, hotel like feel” when thinking of their decor, so I can’t help but think of this modern Parisian style. Here in the US, there is a bedding company which is geared more towards the sleek, modern European style called Parachute Home. Parachute products are designed in Los Angeles but crafted in Italy and if this is more your style, check them out! They even have an interesting blog forum on their company perspective for home, decor and things like the difference between percale and sateen.
For me, whether I will get to Paris or not this year, still working on it…we may just have a quick jaunt to the coast of Maine to eat lobster, clam chowder and reflect…either way I found this decor from the Ascot Opera Paris to be delightful and inspiring! It also goes to prove that in small places, sometimes a grand statement doesn’t shrink the room, and small places can have dramatic impact.

Cody’s in La Jolla
“Well, I guess no one has seen food before,” the rude, bald man says behind me as I used my Cannon Rebel to snap food portraits.
“Well…she writes a blog,” my husband replied.
“Oh,” rude bald man replies.
While I didn’t ever attend “food review” classes in college, it seems pretty straightforward and simple. Eat and tell.
Cody’s in La Jolla is wonderful. Period. The pancakes ( yes, on vacation, pancakes are legal ) are actually fabulous because they taste like “cake.” As it was meant to be. You truly do not realize how bad every day pancakes are, until you have these. Mine were Blueberry, garnished with strawberries on top.
One morning, my husband ordered an omelette with goat cheese, among other things tucked inside it inside, and it was heavenly.
As if the ocean view and crisp California morning sea air was not beautiful enough…this place knows how American breakfast is to be done. It is across the street from the La Valencia Hotel, and the outdoor seating has the ocean view.
Pets are welcome, and there is even a mini pet “menu.” Going back, is something to live for, and actually I have business to attend to in San Diego anyway, so I will be working pancakes from Cody’s into my future again! If you live in the area, and have not ever eaten here, then you have not truly lived.
Check out the past few blog posts or my Instagram Account for more pictures from La Jolla!
Fabulousness!

We recently ran off for a quick jaunt to California, and since we had business anyway in San Diego…we decided to stay in the La Jolla Cove vacinity, and make a break out of it!
Last year at this time, we were also in California, but toured through La Jolla, Carlsbad, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, etc. Because of that, this time we decided to stay in one area and actually relax in between touring tennis facilities, etc.
Last year, while visiting the seals on La Jolla Cove… I’d notice the huge pink hotel overlooking the ocean, so we (I) decided to stay there this time around. It has a fabulous old Hollywood feel to it… coming from the fact that it was built in 1926.
I love how the room doors are the old style, in heavy wood, the hallways are skinny and the elevator is even smaller, as they were not industrial sized as we see in newer construction.
There are a couple of different options for fabulous dining, and who wouldn’t want their breakfast on the restaurant terrace overlooking the ocean view?
Our room was an Ocean View, but by going to the La Valencia website, you can see that they also have different type of Villas available, that I will try to book next time we go.
Our room’s terrace was equipped with birds that would literally bark at you for snacks. Fortunately, I stopped for room snack and hairspray before getting to the hotel, so I had available a fat girl sized bag of Cheetos, which the birds loved. I’m thinking the salty nature of Cheetos was fish-like for them. Either way, the showed up like clock work every morning, some even taking the bites right out of my hand!
Between the seals on the nearby cove, the birds, the ocean view, fabulous food and a great hotel…we had an absolutely wonderful stay! Check out the interesting video below if you love history and architecture !

La Jolla Cove
I realize that I am not the first person to ever get close to and take photos of seals. These, however…are my seals. This was my personal La Jolla experience, and I want to share.
The world was never meant to be about concrete jungles that destroy and overtake the natural majesty of God’s creation. Were were to live among and derive pleasure – as well as reasonable resource from the beauty and wonders he created.
How in the world, a moderately intelligent person could look around the earth…watch the ocean’s waves- packed full of marine life, crash in and roll out. Watch the many birds dive and feed from the oceans, or wiggly worms in the green grass. How could you watch seals laying cheek to cheek with their friends and family, with a baby tucked under their fin…and really not realize that there is a God who created it all? And truly, how on earth could a person see the smile and love of a dog, who lives for their “person,” and ever think a beautiful connection such as that, could be a fluke?
As I stood on the rocks, watching some of the sea lions sleep in La Jolla Cove…I noticed two sleeping cheek to cheek. And, as I wondered about the depths of their relationship (like…was he her “baby daddy” or just friends, relatives, etc…) the one on the right sleepily lifted its fin to feel around next to itself. He tapped and gently felt and looked comforted by the presence of the napping soul next to it… all as if to check and make sure he was still there.
Could beings who love, really be a totally accidental freak of nature? Everything works perfectly together to keep the world turning and nature can be so beautiful. Hummingbirds are a favorite of mine. Each one is a tiny work of art. Actually, one who thinks this massive machine is a Godless accident has to be absolutely crazy. Out of touch. Blind.
The little sea gulls that came to my balcony door every morning, in hopes of barking (yes, barking) for snacks of any kind… would eat Cheetos right from my hand. (Envision Cheetos dust all over their beaks.) As one might keep waiting for me to decide if he should have another Cheetos…he head would cock, and he would stare as if trying desperately to understand, “Who exactly is this weird Cheetos lady, on the balcony in her nightgown and pin curls…with a fat girl bag of these yummy orange things?” The point is, there was some level of intelligence there. We see it all the time in dogs and cats. How could intelligence not be by grand design? Actually, it would be impossible.
These are the thoughts running through my mind as we visited the La Jolla Cove last week. We were there last year, at the same time, but this time… we enjoyed nature even more.
La Jolla is a beautiful place to relax, think, recharge your soul and connect. So my seal and ocean photos are not prize winning…but I tried to capture the hearts of the precious little animals, and majesty the ocean side area commands as the sun continues to rise and set in perfect tandem with all below it.
I’m pretty easy going, but one demand I make on my husband (who is a harder worker bee than I) is that I will grind and work hard…but give a girl a break every once in a while. I don’t care what is going on financially, job wise or whatever…I need some kind of vacation from the grind. Getting to relax and just breathe was incredibly uplifting.
These photos were taken by a person who is a firm believer in Father God, his son Christ and the beautiful Grand Design of this country and our world. Feeding little creatures, and getting up close and personal was a tremendous experience.

Then God said, “Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.” God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind; and God saw that it was good. ,God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”…
