When I tell you that black feathers are a classic staple…it’s the truth. I played around on Polyvore to show you some of the most amazing black feather looks for the season.
What brought on this feather set creation, was my own black feather dress that I bought for a steal a zillion years ago! It retailed for over $400 but the company I worked for was closing out their gown business to focus on the other lines. I bought the dress for $40.00 and it hung in my closet for over 10 years, as no one ever took me anywhere fancy enough for me to wear her.
I did finally have a fancy wedding to wear it to a few years back, and I use her now and then for photo shoots I do for other people. (See below.)

I had actually gotten a great offer for someone to purchase this dress, but my husband
said no way! He absolutely loves this dress and thinks it’s the sexist thing ever so she will sit in the closet hoping for another chance to see the world!
