SIX SHOTS: MARCH 2013

SIX SHOTS

march, two thousand  thirteen

Old Town Spring

  1.  alice in wonderland

This was an amazing courtyard I fell in love with in Old Town Spring and used in the blog post LACE WITH LACE WITH LACE.  I live just a few miles away and plan to go back often !

  2.  cozy gothic bird home

I love plants and flowers…and of course any type of birdie homes!  I happened upon this on in Old Town Spring as well and showed in the LACE WITH LACE WITH LACE  post as well. I shared it here in case you missed it!

  3. a very special 12th birthday

My little heart.  I guess I am an annoying pet person who thinks my dog is incredibly special! I apologize. I’ve just decided to make her as happy and feel a special as possible, and I did so with a pink cupcake on this day! She turned 12 and was so happy to get this special treat!

  4.  me me me

It’s worth mentioning, that it’s very nerve racking to be posting photos of your grill on the Internet that are seen by people all over the world.  There is a blurry line between modesty and self promotion in the world of blogging. My husband (see  #6) takes the pictures of me and I take all the pictures of everything else! It’s hard, because I am just a regular person. I get frustrated sometimes and try to explain to him that I am NOT Cindy Crawford, therefore I need good angles and lighting! It’s fun when his photos actually turn out, and I used this one in the SUPER HAIR CARE FIND guest blog on Ashley Elizabeth’s site! Must we be young and thin and perfect to have a good blog? I surely hope not!

5.  doggy boudoir

These are my dirty rotten scoundrels looking perfectly fancy on my animal print chaise. They were eyeballing us carefully before we left the house, I suppose to figure out if they were invited or not.  I happened to have camera in hand, and snapped a lovely picture. If anything about you is a photographer at heart…then you know what it’s like to snap a forever-type of pic. This was that.  A perfect moment.

6.  mi corazon

When I met him, and then found out that he played tennis, I thought that was a really good sign.  It tells a lot about a person’s life if they have priorities that include health, fitness and sports.  My husband started in tennis as a young child, and he enjoys teaching little children as well as adults, the joy of his sport. We all have our thing. Tennis is his. I’ve been taking action shots of him this week to use for our KS TENNIS website.  Although I love those professional shots in which the yellow ball is a blur across the picture, this one speaks to me. It is real and deep and shows his love for the game.

Those are my top Six Shots for March, 2013.
